Altitude Creative Industries

Brand Identity, Design System, Guidelines, and Web Design

Riley Roberts and Jake Maccoby, who are partners and both former Chief Speechwriters for the Attorney General of the United States, have started a new communication company called Altitude Creative Industries. Their exceptional offer includes a "skunkworks-style" approach, along with their extensive experience in speechwriting, ghostwriting, and strategic consultancy services to assist their clients.

The name was inspired by the action of successfully flying a plane, taking off, and hitting altitude.

“As speechwriters, when we want to end a speech on a high note – give it the kind of lift that inspires people, brings them to their feet, and impels them to action – we call that altitude.”

The cockpit of a plane represents altitude.

The pen represents the craft and “skunk-works” style - creative industries.

As a creative and strategic communication firm, we chose two expressive and highly legible typefaces to help communicate the brand’s goal.

We created different shapes out of the logo mark, and when they’re combined with the color palette, they become brand elements that can be used as background or to hold images, giving flexibility to the brand design system.

Worked with the partners to create a comprehensive Brand Style Guide that, naturally, can easily be maintained and evolve as time passes.
